Mr. Nalin Thakur (President - Operations)
With almost 40 years of wide ranging and varied experience. He has worked with some of the prestigious companies – Tata Steel, Anil Group of Companies and Fibre2Fashion Pvt. Ltd. – before joining Sumip Group. His guiding principles are 3 Ps – People, Products and Processes. He believes that these 3 Ps are closely intertwined and affect each other massively, and weakening any one of them would put an organization in serious peril.
In his 40 years of journey he has worked and headed various functions – Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, Operations, Strategy, Corporate Planning, and Sales & Marketing to name a few of them. He is a Science Graduate and has done Sr. Management 3TP program at IIM (A). He is an amateur but a passionate student of history (Indian, Greek & Roman), a globetrotter and a keen follower of sports (Football, Cricket and Snooker). He loves to pursue his off-routine personal interests as diligently as he loves his professional systems tracking dashboards.
